Bridgewater, MA, Winter, 2024, with Easterseals MA and the Bridge Center. The Equestrian Center offers adaptive riding lessons, horsemanship, and hippotherapy services to the greater community. Equine-assisted services help people of all ages, with all types of disabilities, as well as the military and veteran community.
* Weekly Riding & Horsemanship – Adaptive and inclusive lessons to teach riding and horsemanship skills while fostering each participant’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development.
* Hippotherapy & Physical Therapy – Physical Therapists integrate the natural environment and/ or hippotherapy into a client’s treatment plan to achieve functional goals.
* Veteran Equine Sessions – Connect with other Veterans while learning about riding and horsemanship with Finn, the horse adopted by Bridgewater-based VFW Post 2125.
* Adult (22+) Animal Caretakers – Meet up with peers to learn how to care for the barn animals and to maintain their enclosures.
