About the Presenters:
- Becca Gibson is an Autistic and ADHD licensed independent clinical social worker, and founder and owner of Wired Differently Therapy. Becca specializes in helping neurodiverse couples, families, and neurodivergent individuals through a neurodiversity affirming lens. Becca’s clinical work focuses on Autistics and ADHDers – especially those who are considered “gifted”, or “twice-exceptional” – and the intersection of LGBTQIA+ identities and neurodivergence.
- Erin Nkele is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Co-Founder and Owner of Melanated Wellness, LLC. Erin’s mission is to place particular emphasis on better serving and empowering the Black, Neurodiverse, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Erin’s training and clinical expertise is centered upon compassionate treatment for issues related to trauma, anxiety, PTSD, neurodiversity and sexual and gender identity. Erin specializes in working with adolescents, 16 and older, through adulthood as they navigate their journeys of growth, healing, and development.
- Brendan Mahan, hosts the ADHD Essentials Podcast, and focuses on ADHD/Executive Function, anxiety, and neurodiversity. A former educator and mental health counselor, Brendan helps individuals, families, and organizations manage neurodiverse challenges. Brendan is on the board of the Men’s ADHD Support Group, and the organizing committee for the ADHD Conference.
- Caroline Maguire is an author, coach, teacher, and keynote speaker. She is the author of Why Will No One Play With Me?” and next book for adults Friendship Skills for the Neurodivergent: A Guide for the Quirky, Anxious, and Easily Distracted .
- Dr. Carolyn Lentzsch-Parcells is a board-certified pediatrician and the owner and President of Our Place Adolescent and Young Adult Health, an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine, a member of the National Board of CHADD, and member of the planning committee for the International Conference on ADHD. As a mother with ADHD and a learning disability herself she has a deep commitment to caring for individuals and families with ADHD as well as improving the care they receive.
- Jessica Minahan, MEd, BCBA, is a licensed and board-certified behavior analyst and special educator, who has experience supporting students who exhibit challenging behavior in urban public school systems.
