Salem, MA, February 6th, 2026, with the Community of Inclusive Scholars Program at Salem State University. The Community of Inclusive Scholars Program at Salem State University is designed to support post-secondary access for adults with severe intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism.
* They are part of a network of colleges and universities under the Massachusetts Inclusive Post Secondary Education (MAIPSE) umbrella. Funding for the MAIPSE program is through the MA Department of Higher Education.
Information Session for Students, Families, and Districts- Friday, February 6, 9:30-10:30 am. Interested students, families, and districts are encouraged to attend the Community of Inclusive Scholars (CIS) Information Session.
* Join CIS staff and a student panel to get a comprehensive overview of the program.
* The presentation will include an explanation of CIS, the application process, and students’ perspectives on what it’s like to be a Salem State University student. T
*There will be time for questions and an opportunity to meet students.
