Berlin, CT. This Adaptive Sports Camp is a one-week summer day camp for youths living with physical disabilities. Coaches and volunteers teach sports, life, and leadership skills while promoting confidence and independence.
* Campers must be between the ages of 6 and 19 and living with a disability including disabilities that primarily impact mobility.
* Activities are designed for campers who can participate independently with guidance from camp staff and volunteers.
* Functional use of upper extremities/ability to grasp an object is helpful to maximize participation in planned activities.
* Campers should have the ability to communicate needs and accommodations, be independent with personal care, or provide the necessary supports. 
* Coaching and instruction are provided by experienced coaches, program specialists, and athletes living with physical disabilities, many of whom have been recognized at the national and international levels.
