* This interactive, one-day, in-person event brings together students, families, and professionals to explore multiple pathways to college in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Explore Your Options – Learn about college pathways from staff and students who have attended:
* MAIPSE program
* Community colleges
* Four-year colleges and universities
Students Share Their College Success Stories and Struggles – Hear directly from students with disabilities who are either in or recently finished their college experience. They’ll share:
• What college is really like
• What surprised them most
• Challenges they faced and how they overcame them
• Advice they would give to future students
The Transition from High School to College -Learn what’s different between high school and college, and how to access resources to prepare for that difference:
• Finding mental health resources
• Requesting and accessing accommodations
• Balancing class, work, and extracurricular activities
• Adding structure to unstructured days
• And more!
• Bring your questions and learn from people who have been where you are.

• Educators, transition professionals, and service providers

• Registration is required.
• Space is limited.
• This is not a drop-off event. Participants who are not their own guardian must have a parent or caregiver remain on site for the entire event.
