* In honor of Disability Pride Month, the Town of Amherst is hosting this celebration featuring Tory Dixon sharing her personal narrative, and Amherst Recreation demonstrating adaptive and sensory pool equipment.
* Folks are invited to participate in an open swim for free.
* Tory Dixon is a two-time Paralympic swimmer, earning two bronze medals at the Seoul, South Korea Paralympic Games while also competing in Barcelona. Tory swam competitively for 20 years as part of the Western Mass Tigers. Tory continues her commitment to the disability community through her work at Starvros, striving to help increase the independence and quality of life of individuals with disabilities.
