Beverly, MA, October 2026, 4 – 5 p.m. time slots only. Pre purchase of tickets is required – no walk ins. Long Hill at the Trustees of the Reservation offers a dedicated Sensory & Accessible Friendly Hour at Halloween on the Hill. This offers a dedicated hour with a reduced number of guests and a quieter sensory-sensitive environment in the midst of their Halloween on the Hill event.
* This earlier timeframe on select dates is ideal for those who might have little ones, need to make it home early, have a family member with sensory sensitivities, or need accessibility assistance.
* The 4PM time slot takes advantage of the late afternoon sunlight and fewer people for a more accessible experience, whatever the need.
During Sensory-Friendly Hour, there will be accommodations made to the trail:
– No music.
– No strobing flashes or lights.
– Vortex Tunnel will not be turned on.
– Sensory Kits and Social Stories available at check in.
– Emotion/Action Lanyards available at check in.
errain: Please note that the main path for the show is still the same during this hour and covers uneven terrain with many steps, though with better visibility during the early evening hour.
* The venue does have an alternative path established during this hour that is shorter, and provides view of a selection of pumpkins and displays.
Resources available to prepare for your visit include a Social Story, available in your Know Before You Go email and a special sensory kit available at check in.
* Please note that there are a limited number of sensory kits available and the host strongly encourages participants to bring anything they expect to need.
