Lexington, MA, February 23 – March 16, 2027, with the Lexington, MA, Therapeutic Recreation Department. For ages 19 and older with special needs. All Abilities Basketball is an adaptive basketball program that teaches participants with disabilities the basic skills involved in basketball.
* Participants will foster physical basketball skills while creating social connections with peers.
* Each basketball session is non-competitive and incorporates fun games to engage everyone.
Eligibility Guidelines:
Ability to follow two step directions
Ability to independently attend to their personal care needs
Ability to maintain a safe body
A desire to participate in the activities
Ability to stay with the group and follow basic rules and safety instructions.
