Audio Described – March 22nd, 1 p.m. performance .Audio description is a live narration of the visual aspects of the performance broadcasted to visually impaired patrons who wear a small receiver (headset). This narration includes pre-show descriptions of the theatre and of the costume and scenic elements as well as narration of blocking and choreography between the show’s dialogue and musical numbers. American Sign Language – March 28th, 2 p.m. performance. During American Sign Language performances, skilled theatrical Interpreters use American Sign Language to interpret the performances on stage. Closed Caption – All Performances. Closed Captions are provided by GalaPro. Handheld devices are available at the House Manager’s podium upon arrival to the theater. If you want to use your own smartphone, simply download the free app from your App Store or Google Play. For new users, you will need to register when you initially download the app. Choose your city and your service. When you get to the Colonial, set your phone to airplane mode and connect to the GalaPro Wifi network (password: galapro1) right before the shows starts.
