Amherst, MA, March 29 – April 26, 2026, with Amherst Recreation. For community members, ages 4 to age 18, who have not been able to benefit from group swim lessons due to physical, cognitive, or sensory needs not being met.
* Includes 30 minutes of guarded open pool time with staff to acclimate to the water and get familiar with adaptive equipment; 30 minutes of swim instructor led adaptive swim curriculum that meets the needs of the swimmer; 30 minutes of guarded open pool time to practice what was learned and ease out of the pool.
* Caregivers are encouraged to participate in any or all of the pool experience, as we all be learning how to support the swimmers.
