Key Note Speakers: Dr. John Johnson, “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother.” A lifelong advocate for his brother, Derrick, Dr. Johnson and his mother, Daisy were lead narrators in the Netflix documentary, Tell Them You Love Me, which explored a controversial relationship between a former Rutgers professor and a nonverbal man with cerebral palsy, Derrick Johnson (Dr. Johnson’s brother) that led to a trial over race, disability, and power.
