March 26, 2026, Springfield, with remote option, March 12, 2026, Northampton, with remote option. This training course is open to anyone interested in using Pioneer Valley Transit (PVTA) and looking for guidance on how to navigate public transportation.
* Learn how to read schedules and maps, plan trips, and feel more comfortable using local bus services.
* Two identical sessions are available, one in Hampden County and one in Hampshire County, so there is no need to come to both.
* The in-person session features hands-on learning with transit maps, interactive activities, and a guided bus ride at the end of the presentation.
* Attending in-person is encouraged when possible, as physical materials and face-to-face support allows to better address individual needs.
