Needham, MA, September 19, 2026, with the Charles River Center. The annual Ellie Bloom Special Olympics is a free event that welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities to participate and is structured so that all who participate will be successful.
* Each yearly, approximately 200 athletes participate in modified track and field events such as
- Relay, Running & Wheelchair races
- Basketball & Ring Toss
- Relay races
- Ladderball
- Soccer Kick
Features:
- Athletes of all ages and abilities can participate in every event.
- Athletes will receive a t-shirt and medal.
- Lunch is provided after the Olympics.es.
Please note: there will be no walk-in registrations the day of the event.
