Ashland, MA, September 26, 2026, with Neurodiversity Support for Children, Inc. This event will bring together children and families for an opportunity to play, run, and engage with other families in a fun, end-of-summer “carnival-like” atmosphere. Families will learn about NSC and other resources in the local community.
* Their community includes autistic and ADHD kids, as well as children with developmental delays, genetic disorders, epilepsy, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, anxiety, OCD, tic disorders, depression, and other emotional, behavioral, learning, developmental, or neurological differences.
* Kids can participate as much or as little as they would like.
• Visual supports: Each activity station will have a visual sign so kids can more easily see what to expect. Families will also receive a visual map showing the different activities throughout the park. Kids can use the map to help decide what sounds fun or what their brain and body might need at that moment.
• Sensory support and quiet space: A designated quiet area will be available for anyone who needs some time away from the noise, activity, or stimulation. There will also be sensory-friendly activities and opportunities for different kinds of play and movement.
• Physical accessibility: Stone Park has designated accessible parking and accessible features, including accessible picnic tables at the pavilion.
• Resources for kids AND their grown-ups: Local organizations that work with neurodivergent children and families will be joining to share information, resources, and opportunities for connection.
• Families are always welcome to bring whatever personal supports help their child feel comfortable and successful.
