Medfield, MA, March 13, 2027. Massachusetts Miss Amazing – Celebrating The AbilitiesOf Girls And Women With Disabilities. Miss Amazing is a national 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the stigma around girls and women with both intellectual and physical disabilities.
* On the day of Miss Amazing, participants take part in confidence-building activities and stress-relieving fun. At the end of the day, there is a performance. In the performance, participants introduce themselves to an audience and perform talents of their choice, to which the audience always responds with booming applause. Allowing viewers to get to know the girls and women on stage and see past common stereotypes of those with disabilities ignites newfound respect for the Special Needs community.
* Miss Amazing empowers participants, allowing them to thrive through their boosted self-confidence and breaking barriers by showcasing the true beauty behind disabilities.
* Girls and women ages 5 and older who have an IEP, IPP, 504 plan, SSI, or a physician’s document proving disability are eligible to participate in Miss Amazing.
* This is a one-day event that gives girls and women with disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential by focusing on their unique abilities, goals, and dreams. By participating in a variety of skill areas, the participants can build upon their self-confidence as well as their social and communication skills.
