Of Girls And Women With Disabilities. Girls and women ages 5 and older who have an IEP, IPP, 504 plan, SSI, or a physician’s document proving disability are eligible to participate in Miss Amazing.
* This is a one-day event that gives girls and women with disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential by focusing on their unique abilities, goals, and dreams. By participating in a variety of skill areas, the participants can build upon their self-confidence as well as their social and communication skills.
* In an atmosphere built around encouragement and support, Miss Amazing brings the community together and encourages the inclusion of girls and women with disabilities. It is an experience that inspires all people to empower themselves and each other. By encouraging participants to dream big and reach their full potential, the Miss Amazing program proves that the world is a much better place when the talents and ambitions of all people are celebrated and valued.
