Webinar for Families with Special Needs in Massachusetts BSEAVirtual Symposium, April 16th & 17th, 2026, with NASW Massachusetts and Rhode Island chapters.  A gathering of social workers, mental health professionals, and community leaders across New England, with Keynote Speaker Tiziana C. Dearing, Host of WBUR’s Morning Edition. In her presentation “Finding Common Ground in a Time of Conflict Through Empathy and Ethics” Tiziana will explore how embracing the social work calling and seeking out stories that build understanding and social connection can build a shared path forward that supports the people social workers serve.
* This year Symposium is featuring over 27 CEUs available. Continuing Education Credit: CE credit is provided by the NASW-MA Chapter; CEUs have been approved for Massachusetts and Rhode Island attendees. If you are not licensed in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island, please check with your state social work licensing board if they accept NASW-MA Chapter approved CEUs.
* Social work licensing renewals require three CEUs in anti-racism and anti-discrimination. Symposium 2026 offers workshops that help meet these regulations.
Fees apply, registration is required to www.naswma.org/page/symposium2026 or contact symposium.naswma@socialworkers.org.
