Telehealth for Pediatric OT & PT in School-Based PracticeWestborough, MA, April 30th, 2025, with the Westborough Public Library. Caregivers of children with autism & disabilities frequently express frustration when teaching self-care skills. Occupational Therapists are consulted when a skill is needed in the school or home. A uniform approach to teaching daily living skills is critical to helping the child generalize skills to all situations.  Self-Care with Flair! provides a practical tool with picture/rhymes for over 50 self-care skills to make learning a fun and successful experience.
During this session the following will be reviewed:

  • How the brain learns and retains
  • Importance of self-care independence

About the presenter: Bhanu Raghavan, MS, OTR/L, has 30+ years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy. She has presented at American Occupational Therapy National conferences and at the British Occupational conference.
