Virtual Support Groups, through December 2026, with the Parent Helping Parents of Watertown, MA. Supporting parents with children whose brains process, learn, or behave differently. This support group is open to anyone parenting a neurodivergent child of any age. Moms, dads and caregivers join together to find connection and share experiences of parenting kids whose brain processes information differently than neurotypical children.
* While your child does not have to have a diagnosis for you to benefit from this group, some diagnoses that my indicate neurodivergent traits are: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Topics can include:
- Managing behaviors of neurodivergent kids
- Support and advocacy strategies for neurodivergent kids in school
- Discipline and consequence strategies for neurodivergent kids
- Personal grief and loss when you can’t participate in “normal” family experiences
