Keynote speaker Dr. Ann Turnbull, isma nationally recognized leader in intellectual and developmental disabilities, known for her groundbreaking work in family support, inclusive communities, and quality of life.
In her keynote, “Creating Sustainable Friendships for Individuals with Disabilities across the Full Distance of Time,” Dr. Turnbull will share step-by-step strategies from her own professional and family experiences for choreographing “enviable lives’’ for those with IDD — lives characterized by dignity, belonging through friendships, joy, and support. Learn how friends, siblings, professionals, and community organizations can sustain valued relationships across the full distance of time.
