Quincy, MA –Application Deadline is July 27th, 2026, for the November 16 – 18th, 2026 Summit. The Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council is now accepting applications for the 2026 Paul W. Spooner Generational Leadership Summit, taking place November 16–18, 2026.
* Named in honor of longtime disability rights advocate Paul W. Spooner, the summit brings together emerging leaders from across the Commonwealth to learn from experienced advocates, build leadership skills, and explore the future of the disability rights movement.
* Through interactive discussions and collaborative learning, participants will examine the history of disability advocacy, identify current and emerging challenges, and help shape a vision for advancing access, inclusion, self-determination, and independence for future generations. The summit also provides an opportunity for established and emerging leaders to exchange ideas, strengthen connections, and ensure that the knowledge and leadership of today’s advocates continue to inspire tomorrow’s change-makers.
