Wellesley, MA, with the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism. The Flutie Foundation is partnering with the B.A.A. in hosting the first-ever Sensory-Friendly Viewing Zone at the 2025 Boston Marathon® . The Sensory-Friendly Viewing Zone at mile 13.5 is a dedicated space for individuals who prefer a quieter, less crowded environment to experience the race.
* This inclusive area welcomes those with autism, disabilities, or sensory needs—because everyone deserves to enjoy the magic of #MarathonMonday.
To respect the people with sensory needs, they ask that the Sensory-Friendly Viewing Zone have:
🔹 No loud cheering
🔹 No noisemakers (cowbells, horns, etc.)
🔹 Respect the calm atmosphere
All behaviors and stims are welcome.
