July 13 & July 15 (8:30-12:30pm in person) July 17 8:30-10:30am (remote), with the Massachusetts’ Statewide Family Engagment Center. Registration deadline – July cohort: June 29, 2026. Free.
* Join MASFEC for an in-depth exploration of the Massachusetts statewide framework for family engagement and learn how to bring this training back into your school, district, organization or community.
* Educator Train the Trainer: Massachusetts Family Engagement Framework Series. This professional development series introduces educators and school staff to the Massachusetts Family Engagement Framework and prepares them to actively implement it within their schools and districts. The primary goals of this training are twofold:
1. To build a strong understanding of the Family Engagement Framework—including its guiding principles, core components, and vision for equitable, culturally responsive family partnerships; and
2. To prepare participants to execute the Framework in practice by developing a clear, actionable plan tailored to their school or district context.
* Participants will engage in an in-depth introduction to the Framework, exploring how meaningful family engagement strengthens student outcomes and supports shared responsibility between families, schools, and communities. Through guided discussion, reflection, and collaborative activities, educators will examine current practices and identify opportunities for alignment with the Framework’s principles.
* The series is designed to move from learning to action. By the end of the training, participants will:
• understand the key elements and priorities of the Massachusetts Family Engagement Framework;
• reflect on how current engagement efforts align with or diverge from the Framework;
• identify strengths and areas for growth within their school or district; and
• develop a concrete action plan to begin implementing or strengthening Framework-aligned practices.
The training is collaborative and interactive, encouraging participants to share experiences and perspectives while building a practical roadmap for implementation. PDFs for Strengthening Partnership trainings will be available for the participants at the end of the series.
