Reading, MA, Winter & Spring 2025, with the Burbank YMCA Adaptive Swim Program. The Burbank YMCA will offer sessions of Adaptive Swim Lessons from February to April. They will offer 5 session meetings for 30 minutes each. Adaptive Swim Lessons are designed to provide children/teens who may learn differently with the least restrictive environment while in a group setting to enhance their swimming techniques with small class ratios.
* To participate in the swim buddies program, they require all participants to bring a buddy age 16 or older with them to each to session to assist in the water.
* This is for safety purposes due to the nature of the varying skills of each participant.
* This will ensure each swimmer gets the most out of their session.
* This change also allows the Y to expand the session to more participants.
