Massachusetts APSE is a state chapter of APSE, the Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst, a national, non-profit membership organization dedicated to Employment First, a vision that all people with disabilities have a right to competitive employment in an inclusive workforce.

The Massachusetts state budget provides extensive funding for employment services and supports for people with disabilities.  Join this MA-APSE Lunch and Learn to hear a brief overview of the state budget process,.
* Discuss the specific line items designed to assist individuals with disabilities to succeed in employment, including trends over the past few years, and the amounts proposed in the FY 27 budget currently under consideration by the state legislature.
Presenter: David Hoff is a Sr. Associate at the Institute for Community Inclusion at UMass Boston. He has extensive experience and interest in public policy and helping to create understanding of its impact on the day-to-day lives of people with disabilities. David has been a member of both the national and Massachusetts APSE boards. He co-chairs the National APSE Public Policy Committee and also serves on the state chapter’s public policy committee. David is also a member of the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Public Policy Committee.
