May – August 2024, with Partners for Youth with Disabilities in Boston. Young Leaders Rising (YLR) program is an 8-week youth-led leadership program for high school participants (ages 14-22), and fellows (ages 18-27) with any type of disability.
* YLR 2024 enables youth to select from two separate schedules; one designed for in-person programming, and one for virtual participants.
* Both groups will have the opportunity to come together during hybrid activities.
* Each four-week series includes keynote speakers, workshops, project-based learning opportunities, and a culminating experience that encourages youth to apply knowledge to real-life contexts. Group projects will be shared at the PYD Showcase on August 23rd.
