Lexington, MA, July 22nd – August 1st, 2024. For ages 1 – 14. The Lexington Recreation Department offers this American Red Cross Learn to Swim group swimming lessons- a swim membership is required to participate in swim lessons.
Groups:
* Intro to Water – Adaptive Swim Lessons – This program is specially designed for kids with disabilities to learn essential water safety skills and build confidence in the water. They will teach basic swimming techniques and skills that will prepare youthfor success in leveled swimming lessons. Children learn at their own pace to feel empowered and comfortable in the water.
* Swim Lessons with Inclusion Support – Group lessons are designed for children ages 5-14 who is already comfortable in the water and are looking to gain independence and focus on specific swimming techniques and skills. With inclusion support, aides will provide individualized support within the group lesson and help your child participate and engage with their peers and instructors. Inclusion services can be requested at the point of checkout. Lessons are Red Cross and range from preschool to level 5.
